The Xcenda Fellowship Program has provided me with unique and valuable experiences within scientific consulting. Xcenda offers a supportive and welcoming environment, where fellows are not only valued but also embraced as essential members of the team. Throughout my time here, I have been exposed to a myriad of projects spanning multiple therapeutic areas and catering to both US and global markets. My experience in the Evidence Generation & Value Communications team has given me the opportunity to enhance my medical writing skills, interact with a wide array of healthcare stakeholders, and foster a deeper understanding of both scientific communications and market access dynamics.

Joanna NgJoanna Ng, PharmD, MPH

Pharmacy School: University of Kentucky

My experience at Xcenda has given me a more in-depth perspective into the world of pharmaceutical consulting. Everyone I have had the opportunity to work with so far on the Evidence Generation & Value Communications and Digital Solutions teams has been a great mentor and has helped develop my technical writing skills to best convey the value and effectiveness of a medical product. One of the best parts of the Xcenda Fellowship Program is the ability to work cross functionally and meet members on other teams. My time at Xcenda so far has been rewarding, and I know the skills and relationships I have cultivated here during my time with the Fellowship Program have helped me grow as an individual and professional.

The Xcenda Fellowship Program has provided me the opportunity to work across many different projects and therapeutic areas. Since the beginning, Xcenda’s leadership has incorporated trust and value into all their fellows. Even though Xcenda is such a huge organization that spans across a plethora of programs, it has not been difficult to reach out to any team member for guidance or mentorship. As a first-year fellow, this has been integral part of the success and development of my professional career. To help strengthen their Medical Communications fellows’ skillsets, we are enrolled in the University of Florida master’s program in Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy and the American Medical Writer’s Association certificate program.
