Melissa McCart Named Editor at The Journal of Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy

Xcenda's Melissa McCart, PharmD, MS, Director of Global Health Economics, Outcomes Research, was recently named to the editorial staff at The Journal of Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy (JMCP). She joins existing assistant editors Robert Navarro, PharmD and Karen Rascati, RPh, PhD. JMCP is the official scientific journal of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. Dr. McCart is part of Xcenda’s Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) consulting team. In this role, she conducts HEOR engagements including development of clinical software tools, dossier development, health outcomes strategy, value proposition development, research design, and market research crossing a range of therapeutic areas. Her experience within the industry is well aligned with the mission of the journal, a publication of peer-reviewed original research manuscripts, subject reviews, and other content intended to advance the use of the scientific method, including the interpretation of research findings in managed care pharmacy. JMCP strives to engage and serve professionals in pharmacy, medicine, nursing, and related fields to optimize the value of pharmaceutical products and pharmacy services delivered to patients.
